Our Solution

An API that can be used on any fragrance retailer's site or in-store. In one click it translates descriptions to fragrances. No long questionnaires. No expert language is required. Anyone can ask ScentGenie for a scent in their own words and receive matches. The tech was inspired by real customers at Ulta who would rather describe what they were looking for than engage with a questionnaire. It was then tested with niche fragrance experts for accuracy. It is a fast, novel and intuitive solution for online, retail or even for internal databases.

How it works

We use LLMs to understand the meaning and intent of a user’s text input and translate this into fragrance recommendations. This allows for an open-ended experience not constrained by questionnaires. Scentgenie can be connected to any fragrance database and will match text descriptions to the best matches in that database.
